Last week’s number of active players in the all time top ten players list increased to five. mrjohnson & akinking both from Nigeria 🇳🇬 remain in the list from last week with aiyedunseun adding to the Nigerian 🇳🇬 contingent. ayirungo of Ghana 🇬🇭 & grandmastert of Antigua & Barbuda 🇦🇬 also managed to stay in.
The Oga Ota of Nigeria 🇳🇬 mrjohnson remains in the lead, with a slightly increase of 2317 points. Having only played in the Saturday practice tournament. aiyedunseun 🇳🇬 made a welcome appearance. Playing 4 games with grandmastert 🇦🇬 & winning 3 - 1. This result however brought his raniking points back to where it was before the match commenced, due to the one lost game.
The threshold for entry into the active top ten decreased ever so slightly, with oladelefire 🇳🇬 making it in with 1720. However the number of players in the yellow zone (1500 - 1799) decreased to 2. Well done to the players who managed to make it into this list. 👏👏👏.
The giant of Afrika, Nigeria 🇳🇬 continues to dominate the top ten ranking lists. The all time list increased from 2 to 3. The active players contingent remained at 6 players; mrjohnson, aiyedunseun, akinking, akere, oladelefire & joshyboo1. The same three players from Ghana 🇬🇭: akrugu, ayirungo & roberisco continue to make their presence felt, hot on the heels of Nigeria 🇳🇬. dsk from Benin 🇧🇯 made it back into the active list, replacing kasoniga 🇳🇬. grandmastert from Antigua & Barbuda 🇦🇬 once again remains the lone ranger, being the only known player from outside Afrika in the list.
