Last weekโs number of active players in the all time top ten players list increased by just one, with the addition of akinking ๐ณ๐ฌ. mrjohnson from Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ akrugu ๐ฌ๐ญ & ayirungo ๐ฌ๐ญ remain in the list from the previous week. The absence of players like aiyedunseun Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ & tchayna Cape Verde ๐จ๐ป from the ashanti room is all that remains to potentially take that number to more than half. The Oga Otโa of Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ mrjohnson remains in the lead, with a reduced 2364 points, suffering some single game defeats & draws at the hands of ayirungo.
The threshold for entry into the active top ten decreased, with kasoniga ๐ณ๐ฌmaking it in with 1783 points. The number of players in the yellow zone (1500 - 1799) also reduced three players. Well done to the players who managed to make it into this list. ๐๐๐.
The giant of Afrika, Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ continues to dominate the top ten ranking lists. Their numbers in top ten all time list stayed the same at 3 players. Whilst the active players contingent increased to 4 players: mrjohnson, akinking, joshyboo1 & kasoniga. Ghana ๐ฌ๐ญ also continue to make their presence felt, increasing their numbers by one in the top ten, with the addition of prof23 to the three incumbent players: akrugu, ayirungo & roberisco. grandmastert from Antigua & Barbuda ๐ฆ๐ฌ once again remains the lone ranger, being the only known player from outside Afrika in the list. To complete the list ocato remains the only one from last weekโs three from Benin ๐ง๐ฏ in the active top ten players list.
