Seventy-Three participants representing 21 countries have participated so far. 18 players from Uganda ๐บ๐ฌ, 8 players from Colombia ๐จ๐ด, 7 from Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ, 5 from Kazakhstan ๐ฐ๐ฟ, 4 from the UK ๐ฌ๐ง, 4 from Kyrgyzstan ๐ฐ๐ฌ, 4 from France ๐ซ๐ท, 3 from Czech Republic ๐จ๐ฟ, 2 from Benin ๐ง๐ฏ, 2 from Ghana ๐ฌ๐ญ, 2 from Hong Kong ๐ญ๐ฐ, 2 from Austria ๐ฆ๐น, 1 from Belarus ๐ง๐พ 1, from Germany ๐ฉ๐ช,, 1 from Cape Verde ๐จ๐ป, 1 from Ivory Coast ๐จ๐ฎ, 1 from Togo ๐น๐ฌ, 1 from Poland ๐ต๐ฑ, 1 from Russia ๐ท๐บ, 1 from Costa Rica ๐จ๐ท and 1 from Italy.
The first tournament of 2022 almost broke the record for participation in the open oware practice tournament. In total 21 competitors from 11 countries participated. Well done to everyone who did and those that tried. With the Oga Ota of Nigeria participating the winner was not in doubt.
We were also graced with the presence of oware22 from Kyrgyzstan ๐ฐ๐ฌ & e17 from Kazakhstan ๐ฐ๐ฟ after some absence. Taking part for the first time in this tournament was mankalacz from Czech Republic ๐จ๐ฟ, martc from France & christian9aut from Austria ๐ฆ๐น, we welcome them. Still unknown, are the countries tornados, asd9 & bwun are playing from. If anyone knows this information please let us know.
