It will be interesting to know why some of the other master players do not participate in these practice tournaments. For at the very same time some of them will be playing in the ashanti room.

We schedule these tournaments so that players can practice participating in tournaments so that they are familiar with the whole process in preparation for the monthly or MSO championships.
It is also a series of events that we can use to further promote the playing of Oware. So your participation is very much required.
