After the 3rd tournament of the 3rd season of the individual league, 7 additional players participated in this edition taking the total tally to 45 players from 14 countries so far.
The tournament was won by the Oga Ota mrjohnson ๐ณ๐ฌ with a perfect 7.0 score. abilohre ๐ฌ๐ญ placed 2nd with 6.0 points, losing a game to mrjohnson ๐ณ๐ฌ. adetoyeoba ๐ง๐ฏ placed 3rd with 5.0 points, losing games to mrjohnson ๐ณ๐ฌ & tnt9 ๐ฐ๐ฌ. issahfuseinji ๐ฌ๐ญ & josty ๐ฌ๐ญ placed 4th and 5th respectively.
Well done to them & everyone else who participated, especially the female players tnt9 ๐ฐ๐ฌ, bme ๐บ๐ฌ, vivian256 ๐บ๐ฌ anyvil ๐บ๐ฌ& junior player eldani45 ๐จ๐ด. In this edition the top 3 positions were occupied by players from the 3 giants of Oware: Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ, Ghana ๐ฌ๐ญ & Benin ๐ง๐ฏ ๐๐๐.
So far it is 3 wins out of 3 for the Oga Ota mrjohnson. Will the other grandmaster players get a look in to register a win? Will he be able to continue his winning streak, time will tell. The overall difference between top four players has stretched to 5.5 & 7.5 points respectively. Could the prediction that his seasonโs league promise to be an even closer run race be premature. We will have to wait to see how things develop.
Do well to recruit other players to participate in the upcoming practice tournaments in preparation for the championships to come.

Therefore If you place in the top 3, and wish to be considered for a cash award, join The Oware Society before the league ends. The top placed,
International or Full members in the female, junior & continental categories will be awarded cash prizes so long as they are Full or International members and enough funds are raised. If enough funds are raised we will consider awarding prizes for country winners, so long as the country is represented by 5 or more players, is not in the top three or a continental champion.
