We take this opportunity to thank. the whole Présence Africane team, UNESCO (including translators), Communauté Africaine de Culture and all the participants for making this event possible.
We were very impressed with the expertise, dept and range of contributions and presentations. Présence Africaine did a sterling job in bringing the range of these experts in the field of Awalé chronicling, preservation & promotion together, we commend them.
It has brought the international Awalé fraternity closer together and we are becoming even more aware of each other’s work and efforts to keep the playing of this game for the next generation.
